Yvette has been learning and teaching yoga since the early 1970's. Through the years, I've studied various styles of yoga including Iyengar, Ashtanga, Yin, Intregal and Ashtanga. I have had the privilege to learn from some of these renowned yoga masters - Ganga White, Anna Forrest, Swami Satchidanda, Erich Schiffmann, Lillias Folan and Karen Sifton. My teaching style is a mix of all I have learned and continue to learn. I am a 200 hour RYT through the Yoga Alliance. Recently, I have begun teaching a form of Tai Chi called Qigong.  Personally, I have two grown daughters. I am a retired special education teacher of 32 years. I also have a master's degree in behavior psychology.  Yoga has provided me the skills to overcome many physical challenges - polio, arthritis in my spine and joints and two disk operations. Practicing yoga has kept me physically active and healthy.

Micah is a Yoga Alliance certified teacher and received her RYT200 hr. from Peachtree Yoga Center in Atlanta.  She was empowered by the positive changes, physical health benefits and balance yoga provided in her life and decided she must share the wonderful world of yoga with as many people as possible!  Yoga is so much more then stretching into a pose or asana.  It is about internal Peace, breathing through every moment in life, and Balance that helps connect you to life in a meaningful way. Yoga is creating space to allow peace within and honoring our bodies throughout our lives on and off the mat. Yoga is continually teaching her; that it is about self-acceptance, being exactly where you are in the process, letting go of expectations, learning to be in the moment, but also simply to ENJOY and have fun!  She is a certified practicing Reiki Master/Teacher trained in the Usui Traditional Method.  As a practitioner and teacher, she has a passion for hands-on Reiki energy healing and teaching Reiki to others. Micah is excited to connect and share yoga with you all.

Kim believes a picture may be worth a thousand words; however, a picture of me can only depict a fraction of who I really am.  I am a wife, a mother, a full time pharmacist, a part time yoga instructor, an Ayurvedic health consultant. I am a teacher of life; referring to my responsibilities to my children, my staff that I supervise on my job, or anyone I may come into contact with that wants to learn what I know.  I believe in energy healing and I practice at the level of Reiki Master and Holy Fire Reiki Master. I came to love yoga about five years ago when I discovered that yoga gave me the opportunity to effectively balance these many hats I wear.  The more I have learned, the more I want to share the experience with others.  I completed my 200 hour training in January 2015 and am continuing into more advanced training.  Yoga gives me an inner peace and physical energy to enjoy life.

Cathy is new to teaching yoga but has taught elementary school for twenty years. She says, "I fell in love with yoga several years ago after walking in the doors of Journey Through Movement Yoga Studio. Over time, I recognized the studio as a group of people that enjoy sharing their yoga practice together." Cathy started yoga as a way to manage the stress of daily life. Overtime she has grown to understand that yoga is a way to keep the mind and body healthy. Cathy received her Yoga Teacher Certification at the Asheville Yoga Center in North Carolina during the summer of 2016. She looks forward to sharing her practice with others and to continue to grow and learn. "I want others to experience the feeling of being empowered, energized, and centered at the end of a yoga class. And, I want everyone to know you do not have to be flexible to enjoy yoga."
