Vinyasa for all levels: Come prepared to deepen your knowledge and experience of yoga. You will learn the nuances of each asana and how to make them work for you. Instruction will include how to relate to the asana; modifying them for your own body’s strengths and finding areas that may need extra attention. The instructor may include the use of basic props to adjust for proper balance, stretch and body alignment. This will be an enjoyable free flowing class allowing you to personalize your own growth. Saturday Vinyasa:
Learn to follow a
stronger and deeper Vinyasa class. You
will need prior class experience
and be comfortable modifying your needs to the asana. Your instructor will guide and encourage you to try something new
and more challenging during this 90 minute class.
“Sterling Silvers” Senior's Yoga Class:
This class is for everyone with heart,
courage and worldly experience. It
is available for those who may need extra attention and help. It will
move at a slower/gentle pace using blocks, straps and chairs (if
necessary) to help
achieve proper body alignment, balance, strength and flexibility. Try
this class before moving on to the other classes if you have any concerns. Meditation: This special class will follow the Sunday afternoon class. We will explore the Chakras, Pranayama (breath awareness) and take nature walks through guided imagery and visualization. You will discover how your breath can be used to release stress and focus the mind. Through meditation you may even find a deeper relationship with your own inner guidance. * JTM Yoga Juniors* Yoga classes adapted for our younger generation giving them their chance to be a part of JTM in a very special way. This class will be for kids ages 8 - 12. Our goal is to give them an advanced start in their yoga practice. They will learn in a fun and safe environment from an instructor who truly cares about what traditional yoga is and how to make it a life long practice. The class is geared for kids of all yoga levels. It includes stretching, yoga poses, balance, flexibility and breathing exercises. No mats or props needed. Just enroll your kid and watch them have fun and benefit with yoga. Rasa Vinyasa:
Expect this class to be for an advanced student
who has practiced for a minimum of one year.
You will need to know the asana, how to modify for your
needs, understand how breath moves the body and
memorize short sequences. You will be expected to follow the sequences
on your own for approximately 20 minutes. You will be moving
with your own breath with strength and
stamina. You may sweat in
this class!
